Geomorphology of a recently deglaciated high mountain area in Eastern Anatolia (Turkey)

We present a geomorphological map of the Cilo Mountain range located in southeast Turkey that illustrates recent evolution second-most glacierized area Turkey. The was produced by manual delineating landforms from highresolution satellite imagery (Pleiades and Google EarthTM images). glaciation played crucial role local physical landscape even today glaciers are significant features. After termination Little Ice Age, deglaciation promoted onset multiple intense surface processes; widespread slope instabilities, due to permafrost melting frost weathering processes, still most active processes.
